Domipo

Terms of use

Last updated 21 July 2026

The short version: be honest, be kind, rate only places you have actually worked from, and everything you contribute stays openly licensed to the community. The details follow.

The deal

Domipo is a free app for finding and rating places to work from. By using it you agree to these terms and, when you contribute, to the community rules below. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Your account

You need an account only to contribute; browsing is anonymous. You must be at least 16 to create one. Keep your credentials to yourself: you are responsible for what happens under your handle.

Your content and the catalog

You keep ownership of everything you contribute. By publishing a rating, fact, measurement or photo, you grant the community catalog a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish and redistribute it, with attribution to your handle, a CC-BY-style grant.

This is what keeps the catalog open: it can be forked, mirrored and rehosted by the community, forever, even if Domipo itself disappears. Do not contribute anything you do not have the right to license this way.

Community rules

Six rules. They are short because they are enforced.

  1. Rate only places you have actually worked from.
  2. Keep it factual and civil: describe the place, not your grudges.
  3. No spam, no self-promotion, no harassment.
  4. Photos of spaces, not people.
  5. Moderation may edit or remove content that breaks these rules.
  6. Repeat offenders get blocked.

Moderation

Community moderators keep the catalog honest. They may remove or edit content, merge duplicate places, flag stale data, and block accounts that break the rules. If you think a decision was wrong, write to the postal address in our privacy policy and a human will look at it.

No warranties

Domipo is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Places change: wifi degrades, outlets vanish, cafes close on a Tuesday. Ratings and measurements are community-contributed snapshots, not promises.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage arising from your use of the app or your reliance on its data, including the call you took on wifi that was rated Perfect last spring.

Endings and changes

You can stop using Domipo at any time; deleting your account is in the app and takes your personal data with it, as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect; continuing to use Domipo after that means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. If a clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stand. Questions go to the postal address in our privacy policy.
